Finishing the roof

The house modules were made to pass under bridges and power lines, which meant that the peak of each roof was incomplete until the modules were delivered, joined together (married). and proper trusses installed.

So the Timberland crews removed the rotective covering and brought in trusses to complete the structure of the roof. Trusses were plad about every two feet, so there were a lot of them in the length of the house over modules two and four.

After trusses were in place the workers covered them with plywood sheathing and a moisture-proof material.

It was a big day when the composition roofing material arrived. After the roofing was applied, other important work outside the house could begin - like water and electric connections, gutters and downspouts, and the deck.
