Hauling the trailer over Central Washington

We intended to stay in campgrounds while we prepared for living on the property. But each campground limited the duration of a stay. So we went from one to another and back to the previous one, alternating between the Enumclaw Expo RV campground and Camp Lakeview at Lake Tanwax.

Our travels were punctuated by a family camping weekend at Rainbow Falls State Park near Chehalis. This camping event was interrupted as Maura fell climbing down to the river and broke her wrist - OUCH! We found Multicare in Orting for X-rays and a splint.

Our next stay was back at Camp Lakeview, then back to Enumclaw.

It was the camping at Rainbow Falls that convinced us we could camp in the trailer on our property, with at least one addition, a generator to run the air conditioning (August was coming up).

So on July 18 we enlarged the fenced area, pulled the trailer onto the property and prepared for living off the grid. A neighbor loaned us two solar panels that kept the trailer batteries charged because we didn't run the generator for anything but AC.
